Sometimes I find it is nice to have a drink when cooking dinner. There is something about standing over a stove top sipping a beer or wine.
Tonight's choice was an icy cold Danish Carlsberg. Delicious.

I enjoy a beer when I'm outside grilling in the summer, otherwise not so much. It's all I can do to have all the food be ready at the same time, while keeping small hands away from hot stoves etc.
I love a glass of wine or a gin and tonic. That's half the fun of cooking!
This is why I love making risotto. I have a recipe that requires the use of 300ml of white wine. What do I do with the remainder in the bottle? Why, drink it as I cook, of course!
