I am going away for a couple of weeks so I won't be posting here at cakes, cookies and an odd roast dinner.
So, I will leave you to discuss amongst yourselves your favourite cookbooks. Can you recommend to me a recipe book that I would use a lot, like I did with Karen Martini? (There are over 20 of her recipes from the 1 book in this blog!) Are there particular books you use all the time or are there books that you want to cook out of but just haven't yet? I look forward to reading what you write.
Thank you and happy baking and cooking in the next few weeks!!

I highly recommend Bill Granger's Everyday. I LOVE it and it has heaps of gorgeous recips. All but one that I've tried have turned out bee-you-tifully!
I came in to say BG's Every Day as well and I can't leave out Bill's Open Kitchen. But you know what, I find a lot of great recipes in those $12.00 Aust. Women's Weekly books (one at the moment is New Casseroles). You know the large format books you find at Target or the newsagent.
Do you buy any cooking mags? Like Delicious or Donna Hay..they are good too. Oh and Australian Good Taste that I get at the Woolies checkout.
